Teeth whitening at home
For the most effective and safest results, we recommend at-home whitening. The beauty of whitening your teeth at home is that you can easily decide how white you want them to be.
Before you can start at home, we take an impression of your teeth. Then, a dental technician makes perfectly fitting “bleaching teeth” or “bleaching spoons” in real denture steel. You get one for your upper jaw and one for your lower jaw.
After a week, you can pick up your customised spoons from our practice in de Pijp, Amsterdam. Of course, we will give you detailed instructions. We will show you how to use a syringe to apply bleaching gel to your teeth. The idea is that you wear the spoons with bleaching gel at home for 4 to 10 nights. This depends a bit on how your teeth look and how white you want them to be.
Unfortunately, bleaching is not the best solution for all teeth. That’s why we always examine teeth carefully beforehand. During a bleaching appointment, we examine your teeth closely and discuss the possibilities.
